TJ Bopp and Family
Biography
T J and Karen Bopp were married at Central Christian Church by K O Backstrand in 1993. Although raised in different Christian traditions both rededicated their lives to Christ in 1998. Both T J and Karen have worked diligently in the ministry at Central ever since. T J served as a deacon from 2001-2002 and currently acts as the Senior Minister’s Assistant and serves by organizing the teen activities, teaching adult Sunday school, leading small groups and occasionally preaching at Central when there is a need. T J has been employed by the Colorado Springs Fire Department for the past 3 years, and Karen is a stay at home mom dedicated to raising their 5 children. Prior to being employed as a firefighter, T J spent 15 years in the construction industry working as a roofing foreman and operating a small roofing business.
